# Volume and line QA

> Exercise real live charts with volume spikes and changing geometry.

From [Volume and line work](/guides/volume-line-work), open **Live QA charts**
(`/demo/volume-line-qa`). These are the production `LiveChart` components.

1. **Spike price + volume** pushes the price axis outward and raises the live
volume to 6,000, shrinking the other bars relative to it.
2. **Pause feed**, then **Edit history in place**. Alternating edits raise and
lower existing historical volumes without appending candles. The bars must
rescale even though the candle count stays the same.
3. **Resume feed**, switch rounding and time window, then switch smooth/linear
curves and add a gap. Line and fill must follow the same shape.
4. **Empty data**, then **Restore data**, to catch stale paths and stale maxima.
5. Drag the plot to scroll into history, pinch to zoom, and hold to scrub.
The chart labels show whether the viewport is following live data or history
   and show its visible duration.

The page is a QA fixture, not a frame-rate benchmark. Use the separate native
measurement screen for isolated rebuilding costs.
